Barry Feigenbaum
Managing Member
During a 39 year corporate banking career Barry managed relationships with companies in nearly every American industrial sector. In his final 20 years as a banker, Barry focused solely on financial institutions – primarily life insurance companies and asset managers. He developed the problem solving approach of identifying risks and defining alternative product solutions that is the core approach of Feigenbaum Associates.
This work as a banker served as the impetus to expand expertise in financial literacy. In addition to a Wharton MBA in Finance, Barry completed the Certified Financial Planner® education requirement, earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional ® designation from The American College of Financial Services, the Certified Financial Education Instructor® designation from the National Financial Educators Council, and the Registered Social Security Analyst® designation from the National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts (expired.) Beginning in 2016, Barry led retirement planning classes for brokers, advisors and life insurance agents for The American College as an Adjunct Instructor on an independent consultant basis. He served on the Commerzbank US Benefits Committee during which time he gained a buyer’s perspective on financial products. He also created, organized and leads the 10 session financial literacy program on behalf of the Womens’ Rights Information Center in NJ which has assisted women in developing basic financial skills. Barry maintains his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 securities industry licenses.
Feigenbaum is a founding member of the National Financial Educators Council Advisory Board for New Jersey.
